BlackBerry over Bluetooth?

I recently read an Instructable (http://www.instructables.com/id/Using-a ... P-on-a-PC/) on using GlovePIE to control Windows Media Player with a Wiimote. This is something I'm going to try very soon, but as I was reading through it, I wondered if it would be possible to use my BlackBerry Bold to do the same thing.

I know the 'Berry can connect via Bluetooth, and there's a commercial software called Vectir (http://www.vectir.com/) that provides a PC control solution, but I like the customizability of GlovePIE (and the political philosophy of its creator!) and I'd love to know if it's workable.
