The Israeli Defence Force this afternoon (Australian time) launched an assault on the Gaza Aid flotilla of eight ships, which were carrying 10,000 tonnes of aid for Gaza, in the hope of delivering it to the people there and in so doing breaking the 3 years long siege imposed by the Israeli government. The ships were carrying 800 activists, politicians and journalists from more than 40 countries. This includes Australia’s Sydney Morning Herald journalist, Paul McGeough and photographer Kate Geraghty.
The assault was made by armed troops who boarded the ships by descending from helicopters, then opened fire on the aid workers. The IDF have killed up to 19 of these peace activists, and wounded up to 80. All contact has been lost with Paul McGeough and Kate Geraghty.

The “West Bank” was captured by Israel from Jordan in 1967.
Jordan illegally got it 18 years earlier in a move that NO country accepted, except Costa Rica and Britain.
Yes, that’s right, Jordan illegally stole the land from the UN mandate, and then Israel captured it in a defensive war.
When the arabs had that land for hundreds of years, when Jordan had it for 18 years, was there ever a request to make it a “Palestinian” Homeland? Haha. Of course not.
The people in the West Bank are Jordanian citizens, and the majority of people in Jordan are Palestinians and 2/3rds of the people in the capital are Palestinian. The Palestinians already have a state: Jordan. They want a second to destroy Israel because they look at it as an affront to have a Jewish country and not a muslim country.

Regarding Gaza, Israel has vacated gaza 100%. In recent year the Palestinians have fired THOUSANDS of missiles from Gaza into Israeli cities. That is why there is a blockage going on against Gaza. When Gaza was not firing missiles Israel had no blockage of Gaza. It was only once Hamas (terrorist organization according the European Union, the United States, Russia, Israel, and the Palestinian Authority) took power and started firing missiles at Israeli cities did they make the blockade.

Over the last 60 years the Israelis and the arabs have been in a low-level conflict. There have been perhaps 10k Palestinians killed over 60 years, the vast majority have been combatants. In one week Syria in 1982 killed between 7-40 thousand arabs, in 1970 Jordan killed between 5-10k palestinians. There has not been a single UN resolution against them, not a single liberal group complaining about it.

For thousands of years jews lived in arab countries by in the 1950′s the Arabs states expelled and forced out all their 800,000 jews. There was no compensation, no rights, and they were not allowed to bring a dime with them. When are they going to get reparations? When will there be a single UN resolution condemning it?
